Strategies

I am one who listens to the news and then I carry on with life. I do not sit glued to the television news channel. Usually, I wait for people to tell me what is happening. As of late, I have read and listened to the current changes and strategies.

As Christians, we also need a strategy! So, here is my prayer for us all.

As these times progress, I will continue to pray:

Lord, show us how to trim the fat and how to walk as a lean, mean, warrior, a praying machine for Christ. Show us how to be an example to the world. Show us how to share and counsel others in how to enter in to Your presence for all our needs, concerns, wisdom, and strength. Lord, bring us to people to connect with, people to minister to, people of influence, people of your character! Show us the river in which we are to flow and grow!

This is a time for a great awakening, a reforming, and perhaps a renaissance--a new life. It is the time for the Lord to be Lord Over ALL.

REFORMATION

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)

Reformation of character is what we are after! I often find that I change my mind. Well for example, I loved the taste of screwdrivers, or gin and tonic! Then I had an experience with the liquor in those drinks, and changed my mind deciding I did not like the taste at all. Matter of fact the taste is repulsive to me. That is reformation. A reformed thought brought about a reformed action.

When the Holy Spirit came into our hearts, He made a home that was so comfortable, He was actually happy to come live inside us! He moved in, settled down, and permanently took up residency in our heart — His new home!

You see, when you got saved, the ultimate miracle was performed inside your heart. The Holy Spirit took your spirit, which had been dead in sin (wrong thinking, wrong living, immorality, and filled with self), and raised it to new life. His work inside you was so glorious that when it was all finished, He declared you to be His own workmanship (Ephesians 2:10). At that moment, your spirit became a marvelous temple of God! What does all this mean?

When we were born again, we were inwardly modified to become a dwelling place of God. Our bodies are not mere shacks or lean-tos. Rather we were designed to be magnificent dwelling places for the Spirit of God. Because the fruit of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, and the grace of God are working inside us, we are inwardly decorated with rich spiritual ornamentation. Our inner man is now a temple that is so wonderful no human has ever gazed on anything like it!

If you have been dealing with a poor self-image (feelings of unworthiness or helplessness), grab hold of this truth, because this is the greatest self-image booster that exists! Inwardly you are so beautiful and magnificent that Almighty God wanted to live inside you! What kind of home do you think God would require? A shabby shack made of dirt and sticks? No! He has built for Himself a beautiful temple within your heart — and that is who you are right now!

Now live like the magnificently decorated cathedral of God's Spirit that you are! Be awakened by the Spirit and allow Him to reform you on the outside!

This reformation is the fruit of your salvation! It comes about with true repentance. AS we turn away from the old ways, no longer participating in those things contrary to the likeness of Christ, we are being sanctified!

RESPONSE TO: A Dead Man CAN See

Hi Dianne    Great message, and yes I can still remember the 1st time my father caught me doing something wrong, it still feels as bad today. Thank God for our advocate, and the Holy Spirit. God bless you. Paul

A Dead Man CAN See

Do you remember times as a child when you did something wrong and thought no one was watching — but then you got caught? Do you remember how it felt to realize someone had been watching you all along? What horror and dread to be caught in the middle of the act! You couldn't talk your way out of such a situation, especially when someone was watching you the whole time. You were unmistakably guilty and couldn't escape facing the verdict. Can you remember what it was like to feel so exposed?

Maybe you can't, but I certainly can. I was about eight years old. I was sent to the local convenience store, Maylo's, to get a loaf of bread. It was a place one could get almost anything– milk, bread, or even a soda at the soda fountain. Well I swiped a candy bar. I think that is what it was! Anyway, I got caught. The owner called my mom and told her. There was nowhere to hide, and no lie could cover up my sin! I was guilty and felt ashamed of what I had done. For me it only took that one shot of being caught to change my future ways.

This is what a sinner feels like the first time the Holy Spirit convicts him of sin. Before that happens, it is amazing how long that same sinner can live without conviction or sorrow for his behavior, almost numb to any sense of the wrongness of his actions. Oh yea, I remember those years of drinking and loose relationships. They did not seem to affect me at all. God took me through one step at a time to help me change.

The Bible says that sin makes people hardhearted, spiritually blind, and past feeling (Ephesians 4:18-19). Add this to the fact that they are spiritually dead and therefore unable to respond to God, and you will better understand why lost people can do what they do over and over again.

But all these factors change instantaneously when the Holy Spirit touches the human soul and exposes its sinful condition. A sinner feels exposed, naked, embarrassed, and confronted when the Holy Spirit wakes him up to his real spiritual condition.

In John 16:8, Jesus spoke of this exposing work of the Holy Spirit. He told the disciples, "And when he [the Holy Spirit] is come, he will reprove the world of sin."

Notice that Jesus said the Holy Spirit would reprove the world of sin.. This means to expose, to convict, or to cross-examine for the purpose of conviction, as when convicting a lawbreaker in a court of law. In this case, it is the image of a lawyer who brings forth evidence that is indisputable and undeniable. The accused person's actions are irrefutably brought to light and, as a result, the offender is exposed and convicted.

Now this also applies to the believer who is working out their salvation. It would be nice if the Spirit did the work all in one fell swoop. But some things take time and that is what builds our faith and changes our character. As the Holy Spirit enables us to hear the Word of God for the first time, the Word is so razor sharp it penetrates our soul until we feel as if we have been cross-examined on a witness stand. Finally, the court is adjourned, the verdict is announced, and we are declared guilty.

A major part of the work of the Holy Spirit is to convict sinners of their lost condition. The whole world stands guilty before God (Romans 3:19), but until the Holy Spirit does His convicting work, the world doesn't realize it is guilty. That is why this special "convicting" work of the Spirit is so essential. Without it, mankind would remain comfortable in his sin — but as the Holy Spirit convicts, man becomes aware of his sinful condition and his need for God.

Jesus taught, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him." (John 6:44). No one argues that God draws us to Him through the work of the Holy Spirit. It is just a fact that without the work of the Holy Spirit to expose our sinful condition, we would still be in darkness today, eternally lost and without God.

Let me give you an example of what I am talking about. Have you ever tried to share Christ with family members or friends and felt as if you were "hitting a brick wall"? You shared, talked, and pleaded with them to receive Christ and it seemed as if they just couldn't hear what you were saying. Even though they knew they were sinners, they didn't seem to be convicted by this knowledge. Ignoring that horrible fact, they pressed on as though they were numb to or ignorant to the degree of spiritual decay in their lives.

We cannot convict others. That is the job of the Holy Spirit. Hence it is our position to listen to the unbeliever and wait for them to ask, and seek answers. Then the words we speak will not fall on deaf ears. Their ears will be ready to hear the Holy Spirit knocking at their heart!

The Bible says that the lost person is "dead in trespasses and sins" (Ephesians 2:1). How can you make a dead man see or feel? How can you convince a dead man that he needs to change? It is impossible for a dead man to respond because dead people don't feel anything. They especially don't feel the conviction of sin. It requires a special, supernatural work of the Holy Spirit to rouse the human consciousness to its sinful condition.

As you begin to share Christ with your family and friends, first stop and ask the Holy Spirit to go before you, to touch their hearts, and to open their eyes and ears to the truth so they might be supernaturally roused from the spiritual deadness that clutches their lives. Let the Holy Spirit be your Partner, for without His help a sinner is unable to see the truth. But when the Holy Spirit's convicting work begins, the sinner's eyes are opened to his true spiritual condition, and he realizes there is no escape from the facts. The only answer for a sinner in this case is to come to Jesus!

There is no greater miracle than a sinner who sees the light for the first time and then receives Jesus Christ as the Lord of his life.. And there is no greater blessing than to know that, with the help of the Holy Spirit's convicting power you helped a dead man see!

Hightened Faith Walk

In my recent times in the Word and meditation I have the turning away from sin and never to return that sin—the single word REPENTANCE to be profound!

Do you find yourself repeating the same sin day after day?  If that answer is Yes, begin to receive His grace for change.  For His grace is sufficient for you and I.  Grace to walk according to the Word; Grace to flee from evil, or doing evil, or thinking evil. Grace to line up according to the boundaries He has set for us.

There is a saying "Talk is cheap!" All the talk of the Word about salvation doesn't make you saved.  It is when we rend our hearts and minds toward the Lord. Repenting from those evil ways, becoming more Christ-like. Allowing the Holy Spirit to cut away what is not of Christ and with an attitude of humility we should go. There is no pride in our salvation.  It is the Work of the Fathers Love.  And repentance is the working of Grace to humble us…in humility there is not pride either!  Knowing that our heavenly Father is there ready to assist as we continue pressing into Him.  As a friend once told us "knowing in your knowa".  We must not live according to the world's standards but by His Kingdom principles.

Walking the walk of Faith is a narrow path, holy and true  Repentance brings about revival and revival is about the new creation we are in Christ Jesus manifested in our lives!.

Lord we are hungry and we are thirsty for more of you.  Lord help us discern what the quenching of that hunger and thirst is for us!  Lord your presence has nothing to do with prolonged and protracted meetings.  It has nothing to do with messages of sectarianism! –the critiquing or scrutinizing of other denominations.

Lord we hunger and thirst for the truth of the Word.  Penetrate, saturate, circumcise our minds and hearts. Transform us to the mind and heart of Christ!  We want REVIVAL, we want to live in Your Love and give your Love to others!

HEALING WEALTH FOR THE BELIEVER PART VII

Taking the Medicine of the Word

Now that you have gotten the truth about our tongues and the power there of, I have taken the time to sort out the medicine for our body, minds and spirit. Remember also that laughter makes a soul merry and does heal the body!  You choose the correct prescription, speak them three, four, or even six times a day. If your circumstances grow worse, pray in your spirit language before and after you speak and meditate on the Living Word of God!

Col 1:21,22 And you, who once were estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him,

Matt. 6:12 And forgive us our debts, As we also have forgiven our debtors;

Romans 5:5 and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.

1Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

Romans 6:11So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

2 cor 5:21For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Ps 107:20 he sent forth his word, and healed them, and delivered them from destruction.

1 John 4:4 Little children, you are of God, and have overcome them; for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

Rev 12:11And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

Prov 4:20-22 My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayingsLet them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart For they are life to him who finds them, and healing to all his flesh.

Deut 34:7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died; his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Ps 91:10,11no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent For he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways.

Prov 12:28In the path of righteousness is life, but the way of error leads to death

Matt 8:17 This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases."

Mark 11:23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, "If you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this sycamine tree, 'Be rooted up, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.

1Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

Rm 12:1,2 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

John 14:20 In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you

1 Cor 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own;

Pray the Word as a Personal Prayer of Affirmation:

Father, through Your Word You have imparted Your Life to me.  That Life restores my body with every breath I breathe and every word I speak.

Remember to speak to your Heavenly Father, telling Him what His word is working out for you.  And do not forget the work of your salvation through Christ Jesus!

Just as 1 Peter 2:24 is a reality to my flesh, engrafted into my bones restoring every cell the enemy has destroyed!

In all things, and in all times call forth life.  You have the authority given by Jesus.. Exercise it through your faith.

Example:

1.      Body, bone up! I speak the Word of Faith to you. Listen up, I demand that every internal organ, mussel, tendon, ligament and joint perform a perfect work.. For I am the temple of the Living God.  The Holy Spirit lives within me; therefore, I charge you in the name of Jesus Christ and by the authority of His Holy Word to be healed and made whole in Jesus name.  –(Proverbs 12:18 paraphrased by me)

2.      Resist the enemy in every form that comes against me—I require my body to be strong and healthy, and I enforce it with Your Word. I reject the curse of inheritance that came from my ancestors and those spirits that try to attach themselves to me through my wrong choices. I enforce life into my body.  (James 4:7 paraphrased again by me

3.      Lord I accept the forgiveness for ALL of my sins.  You have healed all my diseases. You have redeemed my life from destruction. You have satisfied my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed as eagles.  (Psalms 103:2-5 paraphrased)

4.      Lord you bless my coming in and going out, you have blessed my food and water and have taken sickness as far as the east is from the west..  Therefore, I will fulfill the number of my days in health. (Exodus 23:25-26 paraphrased)

5.      Lord as I come into Your presence, I rest. I rest in Your peace, Your faithful assurance, and most of all Your LOVE.  I am allowing your embrace to saturate me with Your LOVingkindness, knowing that  Your faithfulness endures forever and ever.

Get the hang of it and then go for it..  Allow the Almighty to HEAL YOU!  "Physician heal thy self"

HEALING WEALTH FOR THE BELIEVER Part VI

The Power We Have in the Spoken Word
I have searched out scriptures that refer to the effects on your words and the effect they have on our bodies.  As you can see, I have chosen many from Proverbs—I refer these to as God's fortune cookies! Enjoy and allow the Word to take residence in your being.

Job 22:28 You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.

Proverbs 18:7 A fool's mouth is his ruin, and his lips are a snare to himself..

Mark 11:23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.  (Words of Jesus)

Proverbs 16:9 A man's mind plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.

Proverbs 18:20,21 From the fruit of his mouth a man is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire. The tongue is an unrighteous world among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the cycle of nature, and set on fire by hell.

Proverbs 21:23 He who keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble

Isaiah 57:19 Peace, peace, to the far and to the near, says the LORD; and I will heal him.

Proverbs 10:11The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.

Proverbs 12:6 The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright delivers men

Proverbs 12:14 From the fruit of his words a man is satisfied with good, and the work of a man's hand comes back to him.

Proverbs 12:18 There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing..

Proverbs 13:3 He who guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.

Proverbs 14:3 The talk of a fool is a rod for his back, but the lips of the wise will preserve them

Proverbs 15:4 gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit

Proverbs 15:2 The tongue of the wise dispenses knowledge, but the mouths of fools pour out folly.

Proverbs 16:23 The mind of the wise makes his speech judicious, and adds persuasiveness to his lips.

Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

It is my prayer that these scriptures persuade you into the truth about our thoughts and that tongue of ours!

RESPONSE: Healing Wealth Part II

Reminds me when I was having an MRI follow up test done on the mellenin sheat
of the brain for MS when I was in my mid 30's.  I confirm what you are saying because
the entire time I was in the chamber (approx. 45 min.), without having received any
healing instructions at that time, I prayed to God and meditated on Him.  I prayed
that if God healed me completely, I would give testimony and glory to Him whereever
I go.  The doctor confirmed a few days later that a strange thing had happened and
the test results proved that the sheat surrounding the brain had improved and that
never happens.  It either gets worse or stays the same.  I immediately gave
testimony and glorified God to my doctor.  He said he believed what I said.
Amen sista!

RESPONSE : Healing Wealth Part III

I remember when they first diagnosed me for the 2nd time with MS and there was
still no cure.  I was at Sheppard Air Force Base and consulting with a neurologist
about my options.  I had just suffered a miscarriage after my 1st husband & I had been married barely 10 months and were stationed in Oklahoma.
The doctor mentioned new drugs that they were experimenting with
and wanted to try them on me.  I was only 20 yrs. old but heard God's voice
say NO!  I kindly refused the drugs and settled for bed rest as much as possible.
After 7 yrs, I was a single mom, workng full time with 2 girls and enjoying life
to the fullest.  By my mid 30's God chose to heal me from any further episodes of
MS symthoms.  I continued to work a total of 22 years full time and my EverReady
battery keeps on going!  Keep on going!    Keep on going!    Keep on going!
Thanks for this message

HEALING WEATH FOR THE BELIEVER Part V

Principle of Healing Expounded

When our children were growing up, often it was necessary to speak to them several times until they understood what I wanted them to do. Then were able to carry out a command. For example, I cannot remember how many time I have said, put your school books in your room. It could have been years of repeating that same command until one day, they came home from school, did some supervised homework at the kitchen counter, then low and behold, the books were brought to their room! Of course this is in the natural realm. Today we are speaking things into existence that do not have a natural form. Paul very nicely says in 1 Corinthians 1:27-28 "Instead, God deliberately chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose those who are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are"

God uses spiritual forces that are not seen to defy nature by bringing about a creative miracle in the natural. Then our Apostle Paul talks about the spirit of faith in 2 Corinthians 4:13 "Since we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, "I believed, and so I spoke," we too believe, and so we speak"

You can search for yourself, the spirit of faith works through the believer. Even David said, "I shall not die but live, and declare the works of the Lord." This is a life transforming principle that must take place in the believer. No matter how we feel and what we see in the natural, it has no bearing on what God is about to do! And what He has already accomplished at the cross.

There is something mystical that happens when we use the Word of God in our lives. It takes root not only in our hearts but also in our minds. Once you give voice to the written Word it becomes a living breathing word. It is alive! And when that Word is established within you it becomes truth to you even when the reality is not manifested in your body. Now I am not saying to deny your illness; but I am saying to deny its right to exist in your body! We are merely rehearsing, speaking those things that Christ has already paid for. He has redeemed us by his blood from the law and the authority of darkness. (see Galatians 3:13, Colossians 1:13, and 2 Peter 1:3-4) I would like to warn you that naming it claiming it is a formula that does not work. The power comes when you call for healing and health mixing your faith with the Word of God!

You continue to call your body well according to Luke 17:5-6 and Mark 11:23. Your body will respond to your command and it will obey you if you believe and doubt NOT in your heart. Therefore, your words have more clout than anyone else's words over your body! If you continue to profess your present state, you will remain sick or die from that sickness.

We all have the God given right exercise authority over our bodies. Paul has great insight when he told us in Romans 8:13 "If you live after the flesh you shall die; but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live." (RSV) Therefore, our flesh man wants to call things as they appear and our spirit man (if trained in the Word of God) wants to call our bodies to line up with the WORD! The Word of God spoken in Faith imparts life to our bodies and souls. God's Word is an incorruptible seed that produces very fine fruit! John 6:63 says that "It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life."

So let us challenge one another to walk this Faith walk together. Set some time aside by yourself and fellowship with Jesus the Christ. Make it a point to meditate on His Word by speaking it to your body. Do it two, three, six times a day if you must. Confess what you are believing for—Pray the Word over your body, declare it and watch the truth take place. You will be fully persuaded and your body will respond to your voice. Mix His Word with your FAITH! It is a principal of the Living God.

HEALING WEALTH FOR THE BELIEVER Part IV

Did You Get Your HEALING NEWS?

Well the doctors may say it is incurable. You will have to live with the pain or live with the compromises the meds produce! That was the prognosis for me! The Good News was that God Heals. Jesus went to the cross to free me not only from sin but He also died for my sickness!

Psalms 107 19-20 tells us that the people cried to the Lord about their troubles and he saved them from their troubles. He sent His word and healed their disease and delivered them from destruction. You do know that even the Old Testament God promised to heal His people. Isaiah 57:19 Then words of praise will be on their lips. May they have peace, both near and far, for I will heal them all," says the LORD.

The Word tells us that God's word does not come back to him void. You can rehearse the Word aloud and remind Him of His promises of healing to you. Those words create fruit. They become His living word. Confessing God's Word is another way to fellowship with the Lord and increase your faith at the same time. For me, when I speak scripture into the air, I also put them into my own words and ask God for a better understanding of them so I can remain firmly rooted and grounded in those promises.

We are to be practicing God's word regularly. Just as the physician practices medicine regularly, you will grow in FAITH and grow in your healing. It will be life to your soul and healing to your body

There is a principle to understand here. Let us be a partaker of God's provisions concerning our healing. The most important principle is that of CALLING THINGS THAT ARE NOT. You will find in Romans 4:17-23 that Abraham became fully persuaded that God would do what He had promised. To me persuaded means He was convinced that those things would manifest even though in the natural it was impossible. God even changed Abram's name to Abraham meaning "Father of nations". God establishes His promises in the Word and we need to mix it with faith as Abraham did. Think about it. Every time God called Abraham, He was calling things into existence --those things that were NOT. Abraham did not deny his age either, yet he continued to proclaim he was going to be a Father of Nations!

Lord, may your Word go down deep within us producing much fruit. Whether it be healing, making right choices, or Living for you, we want abundant fruit so others may taste and see how great you are!

RESPONSE AND ANSWER: Healing Wealth for the BelieverPart III

Hello Dianne,

I have become so afraid of doctors and tests that I cannot make myself go anymore. I keep thinking that by now I must
have some serious diseases. (Lots of fear and anxiety and trapped in a prison).
Did you have to walk out your healing? Did the enemy try to convince you that you were not healed by giving you physical symptoms?
Blessings and thank you for your messages.

RESPONSE by Dianne
I read you message yesterday, and ask the Lord for His guiding light on this subject of fear and anxiety.  The Scriptures say that Perfect Love cast out all fear!  Yet in the natural you must act on these fears and put them to rest!  If the scripture itself is not touching your soul of emotions go to the doctors and get a check up.  Get the answer from him and then combat it with the WORD.  The living Word of the Lord.  Your emotion can bring about sickness and unrest.  And to live at peace is to live in the LOVE of the father!  YES, begin to search for your self the given Word of Life John 3:63....

To answer the second question, Yes the enemy comes to kill and destroy the marvelous works of the Spirit.  So the Word is your corner stone.  And all else is added unto you.  The Word being Jesus and his teachings of the Kingdom.  Seek ye first the Kingdom and all else is added unto you.  the Kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost! And when he comes to steal by symptoms or thoughts, keep your self washed in the Word chasing out all that is not of HIM.....

HEALING WEALTH Part III

Doctors or the Word

I want to address a very important topic!  You might be thinking that doctors are out of the question for me or us; or that I am preaching against those prescriptions or over the counter medicines.  Here is my advice.  If you must go to the doctor and if you must take his prescribed medicine and you have faith in your doctors and the medicines, then listen to them and get well. I do not believe you should depend on man alone. There are many diseases man cannot cure such as cancer or Crohn's disease.

For they are life to him who finds them, and healing to all his flesh.
Proverbs 4:22

Remember that the Word is the only medicine that can be taken without side effects.  It goes in, takes root, and produces results. 1 Peter2:24 tells us that by his wounds you have been healed. Healing is a fact as far as God is concerned and therefore, as far as I am concerned!

If you are taking man's medicine, then mix it with your faith and confess that you receive your healing in the Name of Jesus! I have found that man's medicine did not cure me and it did not keep me healed. But the Word of God healed me and keeps me healed today.  When I was terminally ill, I found out all the ins and outs of the disease I was battling. I also knew about all the medicine they prescribed for me.  Most mask the disease in hopes that your body will heal itself!  If that is the case, then apply the Living Word to your circumstances!

THERE IS NO COMDEMNATION IN CHRIST JESUS!  I do not advocate that you jump up and throw out all your medicines and stand on confession alone either. It takes time to renew your mind and develop faith. It did not take a day to get you where you are today, right? Unless you know that you know that medicines are not for you, continue to take them!  Do not let any man put shame, blame or doubt within you for your decisions either!  That goes for surgery also. Have the surgery and believe in a quick recovery!  Operate at the level of faith you have today and continue to grow up in the healing power of God's Word.

What I am trying to say is to use common sense and not to do foolish things because of spiritual pride and call it faith.  Remember pride comes before a fall.

When pride comes, then comes disgrace; but with the humble is wisdom.
Proverbs 11:2

Operating in these principles of faith is not easy. It takes discipline and commitment. I remember that I spent the first year of my healing in prayer and in study. I was out of the workforce for a very long time, and not doing much of anything. I took my time to get to know the Lord and learn about His healing power. I took much time meditating on the word.. I was imagining myself working for the Lord, imagining myself well and healthy doing fun things with my husband and children.  I even purchased Integrity scripture music to sing and recite over and over again. It was not necessary for me to boast about what I was doing to others, or to rehearse these scriptures with others.  It was most important to do it with the Lord Himself because it was for myself.

HEALING WEALTH FOR THE BELIEVER Part II

Divine Healing Causes the Physical Manifestation of Healing.  It is a Spiritual Cure to the Physical Body!

1 Corinthians 2:9-12 Tells us that God sent His word and healed them.  Notice it says healed and not to heal. I know through personal experience that God heals and He is no respecter of persons. This means that He does not judge if you are worthy of healing or check a list to see if you have done good works! Yet, He does honor faith in His Word or should I say lack of it.

God's Word is life and it is health or medicine to all our flesh. Healing can be received through the Word. Once it is conceived—just as a child is conceived—it permeates your body and takes root. Just as one takes medicine and expects it to work or one receives surgery and trusts in the surgeon to heal them, so we must receive the Word concerning healing.  Receive the Word in faith for supernatural healing.

Here is what proverbs declares about the WORD of God.  My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to him who finds them, and healing to all his flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22

One can go to a meeting and have others lay hands on them for healing.  Healing can and will take place—I can testify to that! However, once the Word goes in there is a time for you to continue to take the medicine of the Word. I went home knowing I was healed; I went home to search out the scriptures for myself and apply those scriptures to my spirit being so that they could take root. By doing so, "no one" could steal the seeds of my healing. Those seeds grow into a grand manifestation of physical healing.  One of my favorite scriptures to meditate on is John 15:7 "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you."

You might say I am brainwashing myself.  You are absolutely right.  I am washing my mind to become like the mind of Christ. I am growing my faith like a mussel grows.  Even in creation, each word that was spoken by God caused creation to take place. Hebrews 11:3 tells us that the worlds were framed by the word of God. Our words create images to us and by using these guided images we will live out the reality of our healing. These images are infused into us as we say them in Faith knowing that God will perform His handywork within. Our continued affirmation and agreement with scripture will be perfected by the Word of God.  As we begin to see ourselves well then become well.

It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.  John 6:63 RSV

When I came home from having hands laid upon me, I stood on the scripture that spoke of the woman with the issue of blood.  I knew that if they laid hands on me I would be healed. I was filled with hope and optimism. The fact was I was not healed, did not look healed, nor did I feel healed. I believed through faith that I was going to be healed.. "If I only touched the hem of his garment, I will be healed."   Hope welled up inside me producing Faith.

Stretch your faith and watch God move in your life!

HEALING WEALTH FOR THE BELIEVER

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. Proverbs 18:21 RSV

We all know people who are constantly speaking of their ill health. Wo is me! Some of these folks seem to always imagine themselves sick and will talk about poor health in general. "I feel like I am coming down with a cold. I just ache all over." Some have a slight rash and run to the doctors to see if it is cancer!

What we think and speak can affect our body and our immune system. Our words become blessings unto ourselves or curses. Jesus so nicely said it this way: "The good man out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil man out of his evil treasure produces evil; for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks" Luke 6:45 RSV

The more I read the Word the more I am convinced that our words can change the condition of our body. The things we meditate on will change us totally. I know I have mentioned that the world has desensitized us to the things of God and that the world has brainwashed us into a new humanistic self-centered system.  I believe there are some diseases that will not leave us unless we speak the language of the Lord. God's Word is infused into us by voicing His Word using our own mouths and by meditating on scripture, one word at a time. A continued affirmation of God's Word in faith will build into our immune system and release supernatural anointing that will eliminate sickness and disease in a natural manner.

It is for us to hunt out those scriptures that will speak truth into our beings. I leave you with this: Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.Proverbs 16:24 RSV

A Life of Mediocrity to a Life of Expectancy

Experiencing God's love and healing is more than you can imagine. It is much more than what you read about or what you hear preached about! Even a today testimony from a Christian does not live up to the first hand experiential knowledge of God's Divine Love in your personal life. Experiencing a facet of The Lord's love and divine manifestation takes you leaps and bounds into greater faith. You become full! Full of the Lord Himself. Remember the Lord is Love!

Until those moments take place, we live in Faith, knowing that He will fulfill His promise to us.

Thinking about His love brings this song to memory, More Love more Power in our lives… More Faith more Passion! For me I shall meditate on His Love and ask to be filled to overflowing, and for more Faith to anticipate His fullness within! Then the power comes from the impartation of His Love. Thus, the more I have the more I want—I am a Jesus junky.. I am passionately involved with Him and just want to have His love spill over in all areas of my life.

May the Joy of the Lord by YOUR Strength!

May His Love conquer all YOUR fears replacing it with His Loving Peace..

Step out of the boat of mediocrity, out of the mundane and humdrum. Live life in expectation—waiting to see God move! His manifestation of Love, Power, Faith and Passion are ready to explode in your life. If you want to win the city and set the captives free, you must begin to worship the Lord with spontaneity. Worship Him with the expressions He has given you to use. In Song, with a Word, with hands lifted up, with praying in the spirit, with a Dance or a Shout, and even to Worship with the flags and banners, cymbals, or trumpets!

There is an expression waiting for you! Reach out and take it. It is your weapon to break through the atmosphere. Be FREE!

The Greatest Price

[Jesus] gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds. —Titus 2:14 RVS

I think of my life of imperfection and sin and His being of perfection and holiness! WOW. How much love there is in Him for me and yet in comparison how much less love I seem to have for Him. I know the sin is forgiven and I am perfect in Him. However, somehow I cannot shake the thoughts of His love for me. He sacrificed His earthly life for me and set aside His deity for the redemption of my soul. The Lord knew the entire time that I was made of good stuff. He knew I was worth the price! When I think on these things, I am in awe of Him and just want to shout from housetops what He has done for me and is willing to do for you!

He has redeemed us from all our sin, all of our shortcomings! That is, He bought us and now we belong to Him.

When Dick and I bought our new vehicle, we first checked it all out. It had to fulfill our requirements regarding style, price, power, comfort, etc. It had to be able to perform to our expectations. It is so with the Lord. He has bought us with a great price and He knows we will be able to fulfill His expectations! Once we had offered a price to obtain that vehicle and the dealer accepted the offer, we became owners of that property. Now that we are born again, Jesus paid that price for us and we become His personal property

You might want to argue the fact that Jesus paid the price to set us free. Therefore, you might think we have the right to choose what we want to do. That is not true. He did set us free--free from the gates of hell. Now we are His bondservants to do as He wills.

1. Jesus came into the world, satan's slave market, because He was looking for us.
2. Jesus knew He wanted us and would not be satisfied until the purchase was complete.
3. Jesus was willing to pay any price demanded to purchase us from the slave market.
4. Jesus purchased us with His own blood so we would become His own personal property.
5.. Jesus paid the price with His blood, purchased us for Himself, and gave us a liberating freedom that can only be known through His work in our lives!

As Hebrews 9:12 says, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us." Jesus gave Himself as the ransom to set you free from sin. Someone had to enter satan's slave market, so Jesus chose to go. Someone had to offer a price, so Jesus offered to pay the price for your freedom with His own blood.. Someone had to finalize the deal, so Jesus willingly paid the price with His own life on the Cross.

So are you really His? Do you have the fruit of a Christian paid and bought with the blood of Christ? Here are some fruit we should have in our lives. Taste and judge the living fruit in your life. Do you exhibit these qualities?

1.     Do I exhibit meekness and humility having the broken spirit of self-righteousness?

2.     Is I love longsuffering and being tender hearted towards others being gentle, kind and courteous. This is when one hears, believes and hopes and endures all. 1 Corinthiens13

3.     Ah, do I only pray those empty prayers I learned and those that come from the intellect, or does the Love of Christ come from the inner most places—instead of self?

4.     Has my experience caught up with my Bible lessons, teachings and preaching? Do I live out of my experiences of Christ in your life first and foremost?

5.     Do I really love my Bible and it's truths and want more and more of this Love to saturate my being?

6.     Do I defer to others and not puff up myself, loving others and the Lord as one?

These are hard questions. Questions I have been pondering myself.

I pray that the Lord expands our hearts, increases our hunger for Him, and brings us to the place of His refreshing so we will be worthy to be His servant.

The Branch

An awesome friend of mine in Christ wrote this poem.  I do believe it will be of encouragement to you.  If you are so inclined, you can check out the book of poems she wrote called Heart Ablaze--Deep Calling to Deep  by Robin Rumbolt.  You can find her book on www.Lulu.com

The Branch

I am the branch

God is the vine

My spiritual growth

Is a cycle divine

Apart from Him

I can do no good

Only grace can lead me

To what I should

Sometimes my branch

Needs a good prune

Things once here

Are now all gone

At times my branch

Seems to be in drought

It's when my heart

Is filled with doubt

In winter my branch

Becomes brittle and dry

At times like this

I think I might die

When seasons change

And I enter spring

New life in my branch

God will start to bring

In summertime

My fruit will grow

I'll forget the chill

Of the winter snow

When harvest comes

Fruit's stripped from me

It's become so heavy

That it is a relief

Then the spiritual cycle

Will begin anew

Apart from God

No good can I do

 John 15:5

I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in Me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing.

I wrote this poem in the middle of winter. The day after I wrote it I was sitting in a meeting when a man walked by the window carrying a chainsaw. He then climbed up a tree and started cutting off significant limbs. He continued the task the whole time I was in the meeting. I wondered, "God, are you revving up your chainsaw?" A few days later half my team was laid off at work.

I pray that all God prunes from your life will produce more abundant fruit than you could ever imagine.
